Have you trimed the rootfs.jffs2 image image down to a size that can be accormadated to your mtd2 partition size? In this case we suggest you to read back your rootfs.jffs2 and compare it with the original one after flashing it, also you may check the magic number 0x19 0x85 as the document says. I once tried to mount the jffs2 and it works fine, for detailed steps and commands you may search the forum and refer to my post I once replied to your another question.
