Hello world,

I am trying to establish PPP connection using a gprs modem from BF531

I have configured SPORT1 as UART and have connected the modem interface to this.

When I give the following command I do get the following error

I have also verified that the I do have specified ttySS1 as the device to be used

root:/> pppd call gprs-setup &

97

root:/> Serial connection established.

Couldn't set tty to PPP discipline: Invalid argument

root:/> ls /dev

The following are the parameters being defined in the gprs-setup.

I had tried this config in BF537 using UART1 interface (ttyBF1) and it worked fine

/dev/ttySS1

9600

crtscts

defaultroute

usepeerdns

lcp-echo-failure 0

lcp-echo-interval 0

ipcp-accept-remote

nodetach

debug

maxfail 2

holdoff 5

persist

local

noipdefault

file /etc/ppp/options

connect "/usr/sbin/chat -v -f /etc/ppp/peers/chat/gprs-connect"
