Hi,

I made a device to play the audio CD and MP3 songs in CD, I am using BF512 with a ISP1761 USB controller, and a SATA to USB convert IC, the SATA DVD-ROM driver connects to this device.

It plays the audio CD well, because the ioctl of the AUDIOCD can specify the CD speed, but while playing the MP3 songs in CD, it can't specify the CD speed, so when the driver reading the CD there is a very big noise. Is it possible to specify the speed of the driver to reduce the noise?

Regards,

ZhangZQ

ask the maker of your SATA/USB bridge.  or ask on the SATA Linux lists.
