Hi folks,

We are having some issues with USB autosuspend with the rc5 version of the kernel (bf524 processor).  In reading   kerneltrap.org/mailarchive/linux-kernel/2010/4/22/4562025 and   www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/ChangeLog-2.6.34.7, there have definitely been past issues with 2.6.34.

Our vendor (supplying a USB peripheral for our product) has indicated that these issues were resolved in later kernel versions, and that patches may be available for 2.6.34 which improve USB autosuspend support. Can ADI give us some feedback on this?

Is the USB autosuspend function fully functional, or are there any known issues that we might encounter?

Are you aware of any patches available that may help?

Thanks!

RP

Which type of  USB peripheral are you using ? And which commit in later kernel fixed that issue and what issue ?

Thanks

All patches you mentioned has already been included in the 2010R1-RC5 release. 2.6.34.7 is exactly the kernel version in 2010R1-RC5.
