Hi,

Some of my final steps are to automatically start my program when uclinux boots. I use /etc/rc init script to put my commands in there. I added:

modprobe blackfin_cam

sleep 5

/home/me/my_application > /dev/null &

at the end of the file. The problem is that my program runs 2-3 times slower when autostarted. When I type the exact line manually in the command line, everythings works quite normal.

I am very confused about this behavior...

so strace it and/or add some debug output to find out where it is getting hung up

if it attempts to read stdin, that isnt going to work in /etc/rc by default

I don't use stdin for my program, I only use printf() / perror() commands in my application.
