I would like to use CIFS to mount a windows share but I get the following error.  I then try the older SMBFS method and it works perfectly.  Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Adam

root:/> mount.cifs //fsnt/public /mnt -o username=adam

mount error: could not find target server. TCP name fsnt/public not found

No ip address specified and hostname not found

root:/> smbmount //fsnt/public /mnt -o username=adam

smbfs is deprecated and will be removed from the 2.6.27 kernel. Please migrate to cifs
