Hi

I have bf526c r0.1 custom board. Kernel 2.6.33.3.

I've enabled driver in config menu and saw string at start: >bfin-otp: initialized

did:

>mknod /dev/bfin-otp c 10 255

>chmod 666 /dev/bfin-ot

But when I did:

>dd if=/dev/bfin-otp of=otp.bin bs=8 count=4

>/dev/bfin-otp: No such device

No difference if CONFIG_BFIN_OTP=y or m(with modprobe bfin-otp)

How can I get access to OTP or in which direction should I work?

Best Regards

Victor:

If you are booting a recent kernel (with otp) - then as soon as you see the bootmessage - the system should create /dev/bfin-otp for you.

See https://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=otp

device nodes are created automatically by default.  if they arent, then make sure you havent messed with the default settings and broken things.
