I have some questions regarding the blackfin bf537 stamp board and this audio extender:   www.analog.com/en/embedded-processing-dsp/blackfin/BF-EXTENDERAUD/processors/product.html .I compiled a uClinux distribution with driver support for Ad1938 codec.The questions are:

    What configurations do I have to do to the hardware(audio extender and bf537 stamp board) so that uClinux would identify the audio extender?

    There are 2 Ad1938 codecs labeled A and B, how do i enable just one or could uClinux work with both??

    Is there any modification that I have to make to the driver.

I need to do some applications with sound processing and all I have are these options(Bf537 stamp and that audio extender).

If you have solutions that could help me, please detail.Thank you

Check   docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=linux-kernel:drivers:ad193x&s[]=ad193x for kernel configuration.

And you need patch sound/soc/blackfin/bf5xx-ad193x.c by

- #if 0

+#if 1

        /* if input frequency is not 12288000, we need set pll */

        ret = snd_soc_dai_set_pll(codec_dai, 0, 0,

                        24576000, 12288000);

        if (ret < 0)

                return ret;

#endif

for your board.

Thank you for the reply.I have one more question:

Are there any configuration that need to be made to the hardware or do I just attach it taking into account the guidlines from ADI website??
