Hai Mike,

I am continuously attaching and detaching USB in my board. From the kernel it is assigned blocks such as sda,sdb,sdc,...etc up to sdz. After assigning sdc when I detach and attach the USB once again, the USB is not at all detected which is shown below.But the cat /proc/partitions shows partition as sdaa. Can you please clarify why I cant detect sdaa in my application ?

Block sdu is mounted Successfully...!

when sda is removed, the layers should not move on to sdb and then sdc and ...

 

if sda doesnt exist, the new disk should be sda
