Dear guys,

BF537 Ezkit has ad1854 and ad1871. I want to realize a simple 'talkthrough' application before further work. But I met some problem. By default they are not drived up. So on the target board I got these:

root:/> tone

ERROR: failed to open DAC device /dev/dsp

root:/> ls /dev/dsp

ls: /dev/dsp: No such file or directory

/dev/dsp doesn't exist. Did I forget some configurations in Sound Card Support? Does this mean that I have to fixed the drivers stuff by myself? Where can I find the audio driver for Ezkit, or how can I write them?

There is another problem:

If I want to develop a customized audio daughter board include 8 input channels, which is the easier way in term of driver development? 1), 4 Cascaded stereo codecs (AD73322L); 2), four independed stereo codecs (ADAU1361) linked to four I2S ports on SPORT0.

Is there some reference design before? I need your advice.

Thanks in advance.

Libo
