I've got an SSM2603 working with my BF532 on 2009R1-RC6.  Everything seems to work fine (tone, vplay, etc.), but whenever I play something I get the following message over and over:

BUG: stream = 0, pos = 0x4000, buffer size = 0x4000, period size = 0x2000

A quick search didn't turn up anything.  I enabled debugging and 'more verbose' debugging when I built the ALSA stuff.  Any idea what this is?

A little more info... the message is repeated around twice per second.  Here's a little snip of what shows up in /var/log:

Jan  1 00:04:33 blackfin user.err kernel: BUG: stream = 0, pos = 0x4000, buffer size = 0x4000, period size = 0x400

Jan  1 00:04:34 blackfin user.err kernel: BUG: stream = 0, pos = 0x4000, buffer size = 0x4000, period size = 0x400

Jan  1 00:04:34 blackfin user.err kernel: BUG: stream = 0, pos = 0x4000, buffer size = 0x4000, period size = 0x400

Jan  1 00:04:35 blackfin user.err kernel: BUG: stream = 0, pos = 0x4000, buffer size = 0x4000, period size = 0x400

Jan  1 00:04:35 blackfin user.err kernel: BUG: stream = 0, pos = 0x4000, buffer size = 0x4000, period size = 0x400

Jan  1 00:04:35 blackfin user.err kernel: BUG: stream = 0, pos = 0x4000, buffer size = 0x4000, period size = 0x400

mp3play, mixer, etc. seem to work fine (for output at least - haven't tried audio-in yet).  mp3play uses between 15-20% of CPU when playing 320kbps 44KHz MP3s.

Hi Jay,

Please turn off outputting the DEBUG  message, the message just tell you some runtime parameters.
