Hi Mike,

ok , but i was able to cross compile the usb_modeswitch code using bfin-uclinux, and included this bin with my uImage.

i wanted to connect Huwai Modem EC1260 with Blacfin BF561 board using uclinux platform. i hav used bfin-uclinux 2006R1 toolchain.

my prob is when i try to connect Usb Modem using

" usb_modeswitch -v 0x12d1 -p 0x140b -H -W"

i getting errors..unable to connect the device

if anybody  have any idea plz advise me.

Are you sure  your USB modem is probed properly by kernel driver?

Please run lsusb.

In addition, 2006R1 is too old and never supported any more. Why not upgrade to 2009R1.1 release?

hi

i am sure my usb modem works fine... even if i build the kernel image with usb support, i am able to detect the usb device as mass storage device.. then i am unable to proceed with usb_modeswitch cross compilation.

Right now i can't use uclinux-dist 2009R1 , i hav an already running application using 2006R1 dist. thats why..

Do u hav any idea plz suggest me..

Regards
