what is wrong?? Can  uclinux run just modify the CPU type bf531?

thank you!

you got your source from HHCN which means you get to go ask them for support

if you want support from us, you should download our latest release and use that (2009R1)

Dear Mike

you can see that my uclinus version: Linux version 2.6.28.10-ADI-2009R1,

I download the latest vesion!

however ,the Uboot is not latest, because I have no emulator to update it!

but I think it is no matter to use the old version uboot to boot the uclinux version!

The differences between bf531 and bf533 is just  L1 memory size,

I think the newest ucinux could run if I choose the  right CPU type, and it really boot ,and what is wrong is the filesystem.

Is that right?

wangl

thank you!

you didnt say what toolchain version or board configuration you're using.  if you simply copied your files from your old dist to the new one, that isnt going to work.  you need to update all your board files and configs too.

root=/dev/ram makes no sense at all

those errors generally come from your userspace not being properly configured (no shell)

you also must be using the 2009R1 toolchain like the FAQ says

Dear Mike ,

Thank you!

it do work now ,because of the new toolchain,I do not complie some user space module to avoid erro last time!

Can you introduce some book about the user space program which is used init the system?

thank you!
