Hello,

 

I am trying to get the snort program to work in kernel version 2.6.28.10-ADI-2009R1.

When I run snort on my BF537 stamp board I always get the following output, no matter what input parameters I pass to it.  This error is happening before the main() function is entered.  Any ideas?

David,

 

As the error message indicates: "Allocation of length 38264832 from process 265 failed" - the biggest memory block available in your system is "1*16384kB". So you may need to change your application.
