I would like to know when the first blackfin processor was released to public and from when uclinux started supporting Blackfin processor.

Thanks a ton,

Hi Mike,

Thanks a lot. Did the blackfin ever run on Linux 2.4? I mean prior to 2004 there was only VDSP++ for Blackfin and no linux?

Surya:

There was a 2.4 port  (BF535 only) - but is was pretty crappy by my standards. Some were able to make it limp along - and did release products based on it.
