Hi,

 

Running Qt application crashes on BF527-EZKIT (2.6.28.10-ADI-2010R1-pre-svn6597 with Qt 4.5.1).

The application is known to work with previous (2.6.28.7-ADI-2009R1-pre-svn6218 )  and Qt4.5.

 

It crashes on both BF527-EZKIT and on the custom BF527 board.

Page allocation failure is not the application crashing - it is the application running out of memory. Add more memory to your system, or do something else to free memory.

What confusing me is that even a simple application fails on the BF527-EZKIT where there is enough memory. Futuremore, the same applications worked fine before.

 

Do you know if the Qt 4.5.1 memory requirements has increased?

Nope - not that I'm aware of.

 

We normally do a compile test, and run some quick apps when we upgrade - but we don't test every platform. With some of the larger apps - like Qt - we normally run them on the 548 - which allows the rootfs to be on the HardDrive - and the run time free memory is 60Meg.

 

In your error message - you have less than 4.

Yes - that is what it means.

 

The largerst page you have is 2048k - so anything larger than that will fail.
