In the document Lockbox Design Document.doc. It says "For the FR5 of protecting from mass copy you may program your application with the checking of the CHIP ID".

My question is, what is the CHIP ID?Is it writed in the DSP before I get it?

If not, how can I get it and write it to the private OTP?

And, how about the CHIP ID  read from public OTP?

Because the checking bases on these two CHIP IDs.So could you please explain the process of the checking?

Thanks

if you have questions about the hardware (like the HRM), then ask ADI support directly

Thanks for your attention.

But I don't think this is a hardware question.Because lockbox and mass copy protection are all software issues.

Especially the lockbox process, It can't be a hardware issue. Is't it?

the lockbox interface is in hardware, thus your questions go there.  you arent asking how Linux or something utilizes it.
