We wrote jffs2 file system on the flash.

on trying to mount that as a mtd partition as jfs filesystem getting - below error

 

root:/> mount -t jffs2 /dev/mtdblock2

mount: cannot read /etc/fstab: No such file or directory

 

Please let us know what we should do more to mount jffs2 file system

did you try fixing the error message ?  if it complains there is no fstab, why dont you try creating one.

Hi Hari,

 

Try this

 

 

 

mkdir -p /mnt/mydir

 

mount -t jffs2 /dev/mtdblock2 /mnt/mydir

 

 

 

You can change /mnt/mydir to something else of course
