Dear All,

We are using BF561 based custom board and 2006R1 releases for our application. We had our owm mp3 decoder library for the audio playback in the application.

We can able to playback and hear the audio without glitch during playback from files.

We have integrated the video and network application along with the above standalone application. After adding the above video and network application we are hearing glitches during playback from network( VLC Server is used for streaming the data( *.mpg files are used for streaming)).

Let me know your suggestions why the glitch issue is happening.

Regards, Senthil

check your priorities in the kernel configuration and see if the sport is the highest one

also try doing your test w/out any uart console traffic

Senthil:

There are many chip bugs that have been found since 2006, and workarounds put in the most recent kernels (which were not backported to 2006R1 release) - upgrade to the latest release is the only way to get these.

Hi Mike  and Robin,

Thanks for the suggestion,

Mike,

We have already checked by making sport as highest priority , but still we heard the gltch,  we have not tested our  application w/out the uart console traffic. we will test it and let you know the results soon.

Hi Robin,

Thanks for the input, we will try to port in the latest kernel.

Regards,Senthil
