2009-02-15 10:55:35     Question about GPIO

Message: 69458

Why when I try anything to write in gpio11 (simple gpio driver) and some other, the following turns out:

root: /> echo "O0"> dev/gpio11

dev/gpio11: cannot create

root: /> cat dev/gpio11

cat: dev/gpio11: Device or resource busy

?

Whether it is possible to correct it somehow?

After I added the driver timer and spi into the kernel, stopped working gpio10 who had worked before. What it involves?

only one device can allocate a gpio at a time.  make sure no other device has already requested it.

That then to do if in one program it is necessary to use GPIO, SPORT0/1, TIMERs and SPI?

I so understand that if I have installed drivers of these devices they are considered activated and start to clash with gpio.
