I have a little question about the combination from kernel-2008R1.5 and the userspace from 2009pre...
For a programm we need the current uClinux-dist2008R1.5.
Our problem is that we also want to use some programms from 2009pre which are broken down in 2008R1.5.
My question is following...
if i copy the whole linux-folder from 2008R1.5 in the dist-2009pre folder, is the uClinux running ok?
I have tried it today and it seems to be working... the kernel 2008 boots and i can run programms from dist2009.
The "version" shows Kernel: 2008R1.5 and userspace pre-svn
Has anybody tried something else?
Is it save to do that?

running across versions really isnt supported ... better to fix said program to not need 2008R1.5
