Hello,

When I used gdb debugger, I have the following error

(gdb) file /home/ac/tmp/dot

(gdb) target remote 192.168.1.64:3456

Remote sent bad register number 35: 800114a00;0e:d0fe4500;0f:e8fc4900;

Packet: 'T0535:800114a00;0e:d0fe4500;0f:e8fc4900;'

Do you know how to resolve this error? Thank you.

Regards,

AC

What are the GDB and GDB Server versions? It seems that they work with different protocol versions...

Are you sure you are using the blackfin gdb? not the host gdb?

Hi Robin,

You are right. I forgot to specify --degugger option. Thanks a lot.

Hi Nikolay,

Thank you for reminding. When I check ran (gdb) show version, I saw the version is not blackfin's gdb.

After using blackfin's gdb, everything is fine.

Regards,
