I am trying to get a Linksys WUSB54GC wireless 802.11G USB stick to work with the BF-548 ezkit USB OTG port. However, the board is not being able to enumerate the device. I have attached the entire dmesg. Anybody know what could be causing this issue?

Thanks!

Hi Omar,

Since we don't have such USB WLAN tangle to do test, you need to do some more debug on your side.

1. Could you please use our release kernel to do the test? I notice you are using 2.6.26 trunk kernel, but our svn trunk was updated to 2.6.28-rc2 couple weeks ago.

2. Enable the CONFIG_USB_MUSB_DEBUG to get more detailed information, because the dmesg.txt you post here only told us that the enumeration failed.

Hello Bryan,

I am using a trunk that I updated today. I didn't get anymore messages when I added the MUSB debug messages, but I did get some more messages when I added debug to the hub. My dmesg is attached.

Thanks!

Hi Omar,

As I said, could you try our 2008R1.5 release uClinux on you platform?

In the 2008R1.5, you can enable the debug message and set the log level to 8. Then you will get lots of USB message.

And please post your .config menuconfig file here.

Hey Bryan,

I hope this is what you are looking for. The CONFIG_USB_MUSB_DEBUG flag did not exist, but I set the mode to 8 and got plenty of messages.

Thanks

The BF548 can not receive any data from your device.

Are other USB devices OK on your BF548 platform? My workmate Michael have tested 3 different USB WIFI tangles on BF548. They are OK. I will also do some test when I got the USB WIFI devices.

Hi Omar,

Sorry for the misleading info. Michael told me that none of the 3 different types WIFI USB dangle works on BF548-EZKIT. But 2 of them worked on CM-BF527 board. So we guess there are some bugs in the BF548-EZKIT hardware.

I fired a bug tracker here to record this issue. When I got the WIFI USB dangle, I will do some debugging on my side.
