I don't understand how use the timer.

 

I have the driver timer_test.c (http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=linux-kernel:timers), i have added it in the kernel.

 

But how use it, how use the timer who are setting in this driver they are never launch and i don't understand how launch it.

 

if you can explain me hox that working thanks

assuming you have not modified the example driver, what exactly do you see in the kernel log ?  i just tested it again and it still works fine for me ...

sorry for the question which is certanly stupid but how can i see if the modul works fine. i have load and install it but i don't receive any printk from the timer.

 

(I have load the exemple of the wiki without modification)

if you want to read the kernel log buffer, then you use `dmesg` like normal
