According to me, I've followed the instructions for building Asterisk posted here: http://docs.blackfin.uclinux.org/doku.php?id=uclinux-dist:asterisk

Everything seems to build fine, and I don't get any errors.  However insead of the Asterisk application in the /bin directory of the target, I get a shell script starting with:

#! /bin/bash

# asterisk - temporary wrapper script for .libs/asterisk

# Generated by ltmain.sh - GNU libtool 1.5.22 (1.1220.2.365 2005/12/18 22:14:06)

#

# The asterisk program cannot be directly executed until all the libtool

# libraries that it depends on are installed.

#

# This wrapper script should never be moved out of the build directory.

# If it is, it will not operate correctly.

Anybody know what I may be doing wrong?

uClinux is 2008R1-RC8

Thanks for any help you can give!

looks like the libtool wrapper got installed instead of the binary ...

we've abandoned the PBX in the uclinux distribution.  if you wish to test it, you should look at the ucasterisk project as they do a good job of maintaining the code now.

Thanks, Mike.  I originally came up via Astfin / BlackfinOne but needed a customized 2.6.22x Kernel for our own board.  Now that Astfin2 is using uClinux 2008RC1-8, this is a viable approach.

Cheers!
