Hello,

What values for CONFIG_HZ are supported?

I see there is default - 250

but also there is a statement in Kconfig.hz:

    config HZ_300

        bool "300 HZ"

    help

300 Hz is a good compromise choice allowing server performance

while also showing good interactive responsiveness even

on SMP and NUMA systems and exactly dividing by both PAL and

NTSC frame rates for video and multimedia work.

Regards,

Ivan

if the value shows up in the menuconfig list, then it's supported

I have BF533-EZKIT uClinux-dist-2008R1-RC8,

when I set 250Hz all is ok

but if I set 300Hz - date command is screwed up, it ticks several minutes within a second

and console ttyBF0 is still ok but it's impossible to receive anything via rx command.

Any other setting in kernel needs to be adjusted if setting 300Hz as CONFIG_HZ?

Regards,

Ivan

there shouldnt be ... i think we've tested 100, 250, and 1000 ... i think 300 is relatively new

please open a bug report in our tracker about 300HZ not working
