  hi all,

 

I had build a sample application and got an uImage.

 

If i try to run it in teraterm, I had met with the below issue.

 

Let me know your suggestion regarding this issue

Upgrade your dist (it looks like this is an old one?), and turn back on kernel symbols.

i am using 2006R1 dist,

 

actually i am new to uclinux, let me know the about kernel symbols and its use.

 

also let me know where the kernel symbols exits in the dist.

The latest release is 08R1.

 

To turn on kernel symble, please configure your kernel to enable CONFIG_KALLSYMS.

After configuring the CONFIG_KALLSYMS in kernel, Let me know the location where the symbol file will be created in the distribution and under which file name it will be created

there is no symbol file ... that's the point

 

the kernel will have the symbols built into the kernel and your crash message will display things automatically
