Luxe Thomas (AUSTRIA)

Message: 54024    Hi, I've a problem using SPORT_UART for my BF533 board.

I always get input overruns and RX underfolws. Using the same code

with "/dev/ttyBF0" works but not with ttySS0 or ttySS1.

my code lokks like this:

char reqest_telegram[6] = { 'S', 'P', 'O', 'R', 'T', '0'};

char* myDevice = "/dev/ttySS0";

int fd, writeStatus;

fd = open(myDevice, O_RDWR | O_NOCTTY | O_NONBLOCK);

char* ptr;

ptr=request_telegram;

writeStatus = write(fd,ptr,6);

------------------------------------------------------------

and what i recieve looks something like that:

ýkNaži i i a a á0a a a a a a a a a a a a a a  a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a

a a a a a a é8ãižïZ†ý=ý Ÿ ßþ

                             a  éeÞç~=   ûþ ß  öþþ  Ç oÞçžï^ã i  øa i a a a á0a

a a a a a a a a a a a a c a^{ž   þ>þþìþÞß   ü îþ  >ë:å†üaŽc ïòü úþ      Sñ áa á

   a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a áÃ< ÅáÁ<ša a a a áa a a _Žáa a a a a

a a a a i  ác i y

                 c a a a

                        a a a a a a a÷ ¿  ¿ çþ

Has anybody an idea why that does not work? Maybe a problem with the HW?

Thanks for your answers, Tommy

Message: 54169    What is your kernel version? How about trying like the document says:
