I found:

http://www.ccs.neu.edu/home/bchafy/cdb/info/cdg

http://www.jbum.com/cdg_revealed.html

There is a python implmentation (but I don't think that will help you)

http://www.kibosh.org/pykaraoke/

but I don't know of a command line application to rip the CD and get the graphics info.

We have used (and it is in the dist) dagrab - (but I don't think it supports cd-g - you would need to add this)

Have a look at:

rgetz@imhotep:~/uClinux-dist> nroff -man user/dagrab/dagrab.1 | less

I read that 2 articles you introduced, it just describe about how to render the CD+G graphic, but did not mention about how to get the subchannel data that contain the CD-G graphic.

And I read the MMC3 document, I think the READ CD command can do that, now the problem should be, how to issue SCSI command? Do you know? Thanks.

I don't know - other than poking around in the dagrab source - and seeing what it does. You should be able to extend that.
