Hello All,

 

I found that feature request "ADV7179 frame buffer for BF561" is close by Michael Hennerich on 21feb 2008.

 

Hi micheal , Can you please tell which is this code?

 

How you have tested this?( meas with which application? )

This feature request was closed, because nobody responded.

The initail message implied that there is code attached but there wasn't.

 

I recently removed the ADV7171 Framebuffer driver, because it's not practical to do the RGB to YCbCr color conversion in realtime.  And YCbCr  is  not a common  format  for  Linux  Framebuffers.

 

1) There is no code

2) Because of 1) nothing was tested

Ok Michael,

 

                I have try to open the PPI1 driver through the application code lissa.c. But after loading the kernel in BF 561 Ez-kit I got the statement that unable to retrieve  the /dev/ppi1.I am not able to understand the problem so  that I can understand.Please reply soon.

Hello ,

 

             I am able to open the ppi1 driver but not getting video on screen.My some problem which is not understood

 

               1. How can I understand that my ppi1 driver is opened. I am getting some garbage value on screen.

 

               2.May I use the video frame code for  pattern generation in application.
