I believe you decided to incorporate these utilities into the distribution.  I even thought I saw them in blkfin-apps (although I thought intuitively they would be in blkfin-tests) once.... but now I don't see the selection anywhere in my trunk svn checkout of the 2008R1 release.

 

Did you decide ultimately not to include them?  This tool suite is cool and helped once again today to assist in debugging another i2c device (am/fm) radio, but I had to make and populate the ROMFS manually. Not to mention they seem pretty universal and work on all versions of blackfin cpu boards, eval, development and custom too!

Message: 51795    they're only in trunk ... i didnt put them under blkfin-*, i stuck them at user/i2c-tools/

 

they're in the kernel config menu "Blackfin app programs"
