Hi,

I want to compile my application with my own header file.  Which is the right folder/place for my header file, so that the make process could find it??

Thanks for help

klaus

Message: 51807    Hello,

I think you could use the gcc -I flag like this CFLAGS+= -I"MY_HEADER_LOCATION" in your makefile.

Message: 51808    Are all the source files of your application in the same directory?  If so, surely you should put the header files there also.

The way you go here will probably depend on whether you subscribe to the "it's a header file, so everything everywhere should be able to see it" or the "header files are my interfaces between components and must be guarded from inapproporate use" philosphy.

Graham.
