Message: 51195    Hi,

I am using 2007R1.  The top command gives most of the details except

Priority of the thread while my linux system (SUSE 10.1) gives the same details

Do i require to upgrade my kernel for this? Can you give me some pointers?

Thanks in Advance

KAVS

If you run busybox's top on your host system - you will see the same thing as the Blackfin. This is a function of the application, not the platform.

Message: 51256    Hi Robin,

Thanks for your reply.

I understand the problem.

Is it possible to port the normal top application to blackfin uclinux port?

Do you see any issues in that front?

Message: 51258    it is most likely doable, but we dont plan on it since busybox's top is sufficient for most needs

it isnt like the Blackfin system is your development system which needs all the bells and whistles

Message: 51269    it means the default top does not have all of the functionality as the top on your development system because you generally dont need/want all of those details on the Blackfin board.  all of those capabilities means a much larger binary.
