2008-02-18 15:24:36     problems compiling in libiconv and libssl

Bill Fassler (UNITED STATES)

Message: 51226    I have these available in my user library area, but when I select libssl I get the error that the file or directory does not exist.

When I select libiconv I appear to be able to build without any errors, but when I went to cross compile in a library that linked to it, it said it wasn't there.  So I went into the ROMFS and tried a "find . -name "iconv" " and sure enough it was no where to be found.

My svn trunk checkout is a few months old, I admit.

Message: 51230    the romfs directory is never used for linking, only the staging directory is

as for the libssl error, post the actual error you're seeing

Message: 51242    then your svn is out of date, nothing we can do about that

libssl exists in 2008R1 and trunk
