Message: 50732

Is there any possibility to run such a UART with a Baud rate of 2400 on BF533?

Message: 50782    I know the documentation, but there is no evidence that the driver works with a baudrate of 2400.

As at the hardware-uart s0  go on and try to configure the baudrate in the same way.

- in that case I use /dev/ttySS1 for the UART on SPORT1

Message: 50794    you currently have to configure the UART settings in the kernel configuration menu.  using standard tty functions to change things will not work.

In that case I have to extend the kernel configuration menu with the 2400kb. Does that work?

I don't see a fundamental reason why it would not work - I guess the only advice I can give - is try it out, and let us know if you run into any issues.

I inserted a new entry with 2400kbit in the "Kconfig"-file in /linux-2.6.x/drivers/serial

during the compilation i get following error:

drivers/serial/bfin_sport_uart.c:448:  Fehler: <<CONFIG_SPORT_BAUD_RATE>> ist hier nicht deklariert

´-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

after xconfig the define is not specified, if I select any new defined entry

Is there a general problem with the parser. I didn't found any relations to other configuration files.
