Message: 52584    hi ,

 

i have downloaded the insight 6.7.1 source code .i have installed the insight,but i am getting the  following error

[root@localhost build-insight]#  /work/07r1-rc9_4.1_toolchain_log/hardware/binutils-2.17/configure --target=bfin-elf

configure: error: cannot find install-sh or install.sh in ../.. /work/07r1-rc9_4.1_toolchain_log/hardware/binutils-2.17/../..

 

any one give  the idea to solve the problem.solutions should be appreciated.if i find the solution i will help to  others.

Message: 52586    the vanilla insight probably wont work.  we already integrated insight into our toolchain with 2008R1, so you should use that instead of trying to build it yourself.

 

otherwise, you'll have to ask on the insight mailing lists.

i have  run the command make,i am getting following error.how could i solve this problem.my target is bfin-elf,i am not getting the bfin-elf-linux-gnu-insight executable in the directrory/usr/local/bin.if u see the above link u can understand.

Message: 52681    it just creates a binary named "insight" which you would have to rename

 

either way, as i said, just use insight from 2008R1 ... there's no point in us trying to help you compile the sources by hand when we've already integrated it
