Q: Is it possible to install both a node-locked license and a corporate domain license on the same machine?

--------------

A: Yes it is possible to install both a node-locked license and a corporate license on the same machine. If your corporate license has already been registered to your domain, please copy the license.dat file over from the machine it was originally registered on to the following directory:

[Windows XP]<Install Dir>\Documents and settings\All Users\Application Data\Analog Devices\CrossCore Embedded Studio\
[Windows Vista/7]<Install Dir>\Program Data\Analog Devices\CrossCore Embedded Studio\

For detailed information regarding moving a corporate license.dat file to another machine please see ‘Distributing a License File’ in chapter 3 of the CrossCore Software Licensing Guide.

Once the file has been copied to your machine you can then use the New License Wizard to install and activate the Node Locked licenses.

If you’re registering the corporate license for the first time we would recommend that you install and activate the license, but before you apply the Node Locked licenses, make a copy of the license.dat file in a safe place (for example your desktop) and use this file to distribute the license to your colleagues. Once a copy has been made you can then use the New License Wizard to install and activate your Node Locked licenses on your machine.

More information regarding corporate licenses can be found in chapter 3 of the CrossCore Software Licensing Guide
