Do I need VisualDSP++ license to buy if I want to develop SHARC DSP based audio processing gear? 

Answer:

 

VisualDSP++ licenses are architecture specific; a separate license is required for each of the processor architectures (Blackfin, SHARC, and Tigershark) supported by VisualDSP++. You need to buy a full VDSP license for SHARC.

 

Meanwhile, We have a Test Drive license which is available to download free of charge from our website. This license entitles you to 90 days of Simulator and Emulator sessions before the license expires.
