As we all know, traditional conformal coating materials and curing methods have an adverse effect on Inertial MEMS sensors, such as gyroscopes, accelerometer and IMUs. This makes it difficult to protect these sensors with a robust moisture barrier, which can be a tough problem for those who require high-performance inertial sensing, while operating in harsh environments.  The ADIS16489 offers a solution to this challenge, as its internal substrate and components (except the barometer) have a Parylene-C coating, which has a minimum thickness of 0.001 inches.  For more details on this ADIS16489, please visit www.analog.com/ADIS16489
