The answers given below relates to a customer questions on reading wrong values from the registers as opposed to the default values on power up.

 

Ans1.  Some of the registers are read/write only and read only - hence values might be different.

 

 

DAC1 is always 1 when 0X00 is written to register 0X00?

 

Ans2.  The part should be programmed with the script supplied, and the proper I2C mode of communication with the device (ADV7393) as detailed in the datasheet should be observed.

 

 

When the device is powered down, it is impossible to carry out an I2C read or write.
