QIn the datasheet, it mentions a circuit for thermocouple signal conditioning
with cold junction compensation. The definite compensation temperature range is
from 0C to 250C. Does it mean that this circuit can only work well in this
temperature range, or say, the compensation temperature range is the operating
temperature range. We all know that the thermocouple can be used to measure a
large temperature range. So if the operating temperature range is out of the
compensation temperature range, what will happen to this application?
AThe 250C range refers to the temperature range of the thermocouple, the cold
junction compensation range mentioned is between 20C and 50C. It would be a
little unusual for the cold junction to be exposed to temperatures outside the
20 to 50C range.
