What is the max clock frequency of this product? Is there any method to
decrease the number and value of resistors which are connected to D0-5 pins
when it is operated in serial mode due to area limitations?



 

The maximum clock frequency in serial mode can be calculated by-


This is based on Tsck period = 70nsà corresponding frequency.
HMC624A's min clock period (Tsck) is specified to be 70ns in datasheet so its
max clock frequency is 14MHz.

When the HMC624A is used in serial control mode, it is recommended to connect
unused parallel control inputs to GND with pull down resistors. These pins can
be tied together then pulled down to gnd with a single resistor.
