I have found a suitable multiplexer (ADG706) on your website but I also need to
have a 16 bit demultiplexer. Is it possible to use the multiplexers as a
demultiplexer also? Because it is not specified in the multiplexer datasheets
and I also can not find any demultiplexers on the website.

Yes, ADG706 can also be used as a demultiplexer. Analog Devices ADG
multiplexers are based on analog switches and so are bi-directional and perform
equally well as an analog multiplexer or demultiplexer. There are some buffered
higher frequencies multiplexer devices that are not bi-directional.
