To limit the KT/C noise in the ADC for a 14 bit performance you need large
capacitors, which load the amplifiers and slow down the circuit increasing the
power consumption. Does the AD9245 use special techniques for reducing the
KT/C?

 

The AD9245 does use a smaller sampling capacitor (~5pF), but we use a
differential path to get some cancellation of noise, and some proprietary
techniques to reduce the value. Refer to Figure 39 in datasheet RevD, where you
can see the Switch-capacitor SHA input.
