The datasheet specifies an operating range of “LF to 18MHz.” What is “Low
Frequency?”

 

While the user can DC couple the AD8338, there are many design hurdles to
overcome. As such it is recommended to use the AD8338 with AC coupling. When AC
coupled, the lowest frequency of use will be dictated by the Offset Nulling
circuitry. The corner frequency at which the offset nulling circuit will begin
to pass signals is set by the Capacitor chosen. (See equation 1 on page 12 of
the datasheet.)  For most common configurations, the low-frequency corner will
be around 200Hz.
