Question on Ad8220. In the datasheet is the following text: " The allowable
reference voltage range is a function of the gain, COMMON-MODE INPUT, and
supply voltages ". Explain, please, more in detail this phrase. Whether you can
write it formulas?

There is no formula to this answer. It's a question of being careful.
The input Voltage and the Differential input voltage can both range between
+-Vs.
the common Mode Voltage also ranges from +-Vs.
The Vref pin Ranges from +-Vs+0.5V.

This means that you are limited to the value of Vref so as not to apply and
over voltage to the device.
Figures 27 to 30 show you the options available to you.
