Error in Figure 32 - 2-wire serial bus

In the Serial Interface section on page 19 in the datasheet it says:

“The 2-wire serial bus protocol operates as follows: the master initiates data
transfer by establishing a start condition when a high-to-low transition on the
SDA line occurs while SCL is high.”

However, in Figure 32 on the same page it looks like the write starts after a
high-to-low transition on the SDA line while SCL is low.

Is there an error in Figure 32? Can you clarify what is the correct way to
start a data transmission?

 

The start condition for 2-wire serial bus protocol is when a high-to-low
transition on the SDA line occurs while SCL is high, as shown in Figure 2, page
6, in the www.analog.com/AD5593R datasheet.

In Figure 32 on page 19 of the datasheet there is an error. In fact, the
falling edge of the SDA should happen a bit more to the left, where SCL is
high. This will be corrected at the next revision of the datasheet.
