How are angular accuracy and resolution linked and why does a 12 bit resolver
to digital have 10.6 arcmin instead of 5.3 arcmin?

There are 21600 (360*60) arc min in 1 revolution. In 12 bit system there are
4096 codes. I LSB = 21600/4096 = 5.3 arc min.
The angular accuracy of AD2S90 is specified to be a min +/-10.6 arc min +1LSB
for an ambient temperature range that spans –40degC to +85degC. Angular
accuracy for AD2S1200 is specified as +/-11 or +/-22 arc min for Y or W grade
device.
