Q. How can I effectively debug an ADSP-BF50x project that uses both internal memory and FLASH?

A. The ADSP-BF50x processor series is a little different to develop and debug code for as there is no access to external SDRAM. The ADSP-BF504F and ADSP-BF506F contain a stacked parallel FLASH. Using internal memory and this FLASH simultaneously for effective debugging is requires an extra few steps. This tutorial is written to show how to set up a VisualDSP++ project for effective debugging using internal memory and FLASH.

Please set an alert on this FAQ as additional support is planned for a future release to make loading a program with the emulator much more seamless.
