Q:

Is there any way to slow down the start-up of the internal regulator of BF525C processor?


I am worried about a rush current on the internal regulator of BF525C at start-up time.  I want to limit the rush current of the internal regulator at Power-on or Hibernate mode,  because our product has to operate a long time on a one cell battery.  Can you please let me know if there's a way to slow down the start-up of the internal regulator?

A:
To slow down the start-up of the internal regulator (less rush-current), you can apply a capacitor to the pin SS/PG.  Please refer to page 16-18 of the hardware reference manual of BF52x for the details. The manual can be found at:
